Day 3: Thousand Islands

Thousand Islands? 

the thousand island sauce we used to make salad with mayonnaise? 

No! 

It's an area of mountains which was intentionally flooded by the government of China 

so that the top of the mountains will appear on the man-made lake 

and becoming thousand of islands on the lake!

 Oh I see~~

Actually we arrived at Thousand Islands at night, so the boss of our company trip,

 the boss of Sorento complained that what's the point of getting the lake view room since it was so dark that we can't even get the view and the next morning we have to rush in the early morning to get the ship! 

Yes indeed :( well bad arrangement tour guide.

So this is the lake view we captured from our hotel room

and we were late to take breakfast just to capture these pictures!

next we are on the way to take the ship!

one of the island: the fishing island where you can fish the fishes and feed them, 

but of course, there's a price to pay.

Nothing is free in China. haha.

The pond with fishes to be fed are so full of fishes and the fishes are like starved for 10 days, they immediately come to the food and fight for the food... 

I must say, too many fishes, gross!

The pond with lesser fishes is the pond which you can bring or buy equipment and start fishing here. 

Of course pay before you fish~ 

But look at them, so little fishes and they are obviously not as starved as the feeding pond,

 they even look so full that they have no reaction towards the fish food.

Well, you know, people from China are good at doing business.  

The second Island is about the dutiful son, he wrote a meaningful word about happy birthday 

and gifted it to his mother on her birthday.
